The Low FODMAP Diet is perfect for anyone suffering from gastrointestinal symptoms. The purpose of the Low FODMAP Diet is to help ease the symptoms created from poorly absorbed carbohydrates. This diet requires close monitoring of foods and ingredients; but the good news is, this diet still contains plenty of approved Low FODMAP foods! Enjoy foods such as bananas, strawberries, potatoes, rice, quinoa, meat, eggs, and many more.
With the FODMAP Diet Foods app, you can keep tabs on the foods that are low, moderate, and high in FODMAPS. For the items that are low and moderate, you are allowed to add them to your shopping cart. For the ones that are high in FODMAPS, you are unable to add these to your cart. This may sound cruel but its just a simple and effective way to completely eliminate high FODMAP food items from your diet and relieve some of your suffering.
When you have completely eliminated all high FODMAP foods from you diet, you can continue on to use the Food Tracker in this app. With the Food Tracker, you can slowly add in high FODMAP food items and document how your body responds. You may find that you are able to eat some of your favorite foods after all!
Weve had some fantastic input from our users and we recently were able to do an update and accommodate the majority of the requests. Please contact us through the Rate section with your input so we can continue improving the user experience!
Latest reviews of FODMAP Diet Foods app for iPhone and iPad
Great idea, glitchy as all hell. Looking forward to updates. Currently big waste of money! - no stars
This app seems to have a lot of options but its hard to say its simple in use - you have to do everything by yourself so even apps taking notes can do it! Also, there are loads of foods that are checked as safe whereas most of the lists says theyre not at all! I regret 2€ I spent for this app.
Either its impossible to figure out how to customize existing database to ones own particular symptoms, or it cant be done. Since everyones reactions to foods is different, you should be able to do this easily. Like marking foods to never eat again. Wish I could get my money back.
Not much data. Cant find shopping list they say is there. A bit buggy.
This app has the bare minimum. Everything thats contained in this app I found on a list for free on many websites. I was hoping for a fomaps version of the weight watchers app which you can scan foods in and get recipes. This is not useful at all and totally not worth to buy it.
